Team Member

September 2019 • Meridian, ID

What I liked

I liked the people that I worked with and that I could have a set schedule

What I wish was different

There was a lot of drama and political mess that was happening with management. I was promised a higher pay than what I actually got and by the time I realized it, it was too late to find a better job before school.

Advice

Each franchise will be different based on management but it gives you good work experience to fill in gaps and give you a foot into other restaurant-type jobs.

Shift leader

May - August 2019 • Denver, CO

What I liked

I was able to improve my leadership skills through managing a fast paced restaurant. I also learned about myself and how I deal with pressure. This helped me to think of different ways to deal with conflicts and work pressure.

What I wish was different

I wish that workers in these restaurants cared about their jobs rather than feeling forced to be there.

Advice

It all the learning experience that matters. Try to branch out of your comfort zone to learn how to work in a team environment.

Line Cook

May 2019 • North Port, FL

What I liked

I liked the experience of fast food in such a manner. All the personal connections I made with coworkers as well as customers made the job a whole new memory for me to look back on. The food was alright but considering the amount of money I don't have...I liked the food.

What I wish was different

My rate of pay for sure could have been different considering the amount of experience I have as is. more respect could have also been given to most of us workers. I wish I had made it to management before I have to leave to go back to school.

Advice

I learned from working here that college is necessary to be successful in any job. Also to be successful in life in general. If one plans to make this job a career, then my advice is to get ready honestly for a horrible life full of Baha Blast, toxic grill cleaner fumes, and rude degenerate citizens.
