Working with a civil legal aid organization, because I enjoyed learning about the field and getting to help people in my community.
What I wish was different
I wish I had gotten to do the internship in person rather than remotely or hybrid because I got cabin fever working 40 hrs/wk from home for 2 months.
Advice
The SECU Public Fellows Internship program is a great opportunity for UNC Asheville students to get local intern experience and make money over the summer!
