What I liked

It was amazing to work with children who were enrolled in the Post-Camp program at the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History. I was able to implement engaging activities for children aged 6-13 and supervise them on excursions to the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History as well as the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.

What I wish was different

I absolutely loved this summer job, so I wish that it could have lasted longer than only three months.

Advice

If you are interested in working with children in the future, try to gain experience doing so before you graduate. This really helped solidify the fact that I want to work with children through museum education, but other people realized that they really did not want to work with children, so it is helpful to have the experience before finalizing career plans.
