I was given the ability to set up, and conduct my own experiments and projects. The overall atomosphere was one that fostered learning.
What I wish was different
Nothing, I walked away from the internship with a better understanding of microbiological practices and more confidence in my lab technique.
Advice
Take lots of notes, absorb as much information that you can while you are there. Ask questions and engage with the other lab individuals, they know so much and have great insight.
