Fun work, interesting people, and it was a good learning experience.

What I liked
I love being able to work with children and in a setting where I can apply developmental therapy and respite hours in the community with clients in a fun way
What I wish was different
I wish I had known that I can have as much control over what families I work with as they have in choosing me. I also wish I had known more about their salary being far less than Easter Seals.
Advice
Be positive and really committed to the families you work with. You also need to practice a lot of patience, especially if this is the first time you are working with individuals with autism.
