I enjoyed speaking to Probationers and learning about how to properly handle their paperwork. I also enjoyed learning about how the court brought Probationers in through their system.
What I wish was different
I wish the internship would have been closer to where I lived and that I was able to see Parole as I had worked through Probation.
Advice
I would say that even if you have difficulties handling Probationers, or nerves entering a court room, you should always keep a positive attitude and strive towards the goals you want to achieve.
