Ready to gain real-world experience while finishing your degree? Wood, Patel & Associates, Inc. (WOODPATEL) - Arizona’s #1 civil engineering firm for 22 consecutive years—is looking for a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Land Development team in Phoenix.

This part-time role during the school year and full-time in the summer is perfect for students eager to gain hands-on experience, build their resume, and work alongside seasoned professionals on real projects that shape local communities.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist engineers and project managers with real project work
  • Work in Civil 3D and Microsoft Office to support designs and documentation
  • Help manage project files and schedules
  • Attend team meetings, contribute ideas, and learn the ropes of land development engineering
  • Grow your technical and professional skills in a supportive, team-based environment

What You Bring:

  • Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
  • Up to 4 semesters remaining until graduation
  • Basic knowledge of geometry and algebra
  • Familiar with Civil 3D or open to learning
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and great at managing time
  • Able to work 10–20 hours/week during school and 20–40 hours/week during breaks
