Job Title: Revenue Auditor

Location: Columbia, SC
Type: Full-Time; May be eligible for hybrid work schedule after successful completion of training
Hiring Range: $40,000 - $50,000 annual salary (commensurate with directly applicable experience)

Our Business Operations Team works to support all facets of The Cason Group (TCG) business operations with various projects, reporting, data-entry, and management of data systems.
As a Revenue Auditor, you will be responsible for examining and analyzing revenue data for purposes of identifying, reconciling, and generating detailed reports on the discrepancies between actual and expected revenue through implementation of corrective processes and procedures while maintaining positive relationships with internal constituents, carriers, and contractors.
What Our Revenue Auditor Does:
- Develop and Maintain Thorough Knowledgebase: become deeply familiar with carrier contracts and non-contractual agreements as they relate to expected compensation payments; possess a thorough understanding of commission/override procedures to track received and anticipated payments; establish a profound working knowledge of the tools utilized to accurately calculate expected revenue based on carrier contracts and non-contractual agreements
- Perform Accurate Audits: create standardization around auditing processes to ensure a streamlined and efficient approach while remaining flexible with specific nuances in some circumstances; conduct routine and thorough audits to ensure all revenue and reporting are accurate; compare large sets of data to identify and resolve discrepancies; investigate discrepancies and work with internal and/or externals parties to determine the appropriate resolution
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required with a strong preference for expertise in Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy along with the ability to meet deadlines while organizing, managing, and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously
- A natural sense of curiosity, specifically when investigating and resolving errors
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
