Temporary Recovery Coordinator

Temporary Recovery Coordinator – Penobscot Place - $18.54/Hr                                          
Closing Date: 06/16/2025

PT 20 Hr/wk Assist members in the day-to-day operations of Penobscot Place. Facilitation or Co-facilitate recovery groups. Actively involved in community programs geared toward recovery. Provide support to persons in recovery. Assist members with securing substance abuse inpatient or outpatient treatment, when necessary. Engage in continuous concerted efforts to access, obtain, respond to pertinent agency information/communications and disseminate as appropriate.
Worksite: Norwich 
Hours: Mon - Fri, First Shift Flexible 

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or equivalent work experience in the provision of mental health services
  • Valid CT Driver’s License, vehicle registration, and insurance
  • Good Driving Record
  • Experience with the recovery process with at least one year, to date, abstinence from the use of illegal drugs/alcohol abuse
