Executive Assistant to CEO (Apprenticeship in Digital Marketing and Capital Markets)

We are a fast-growing company with a team of 17, and we're seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to assist the CEO in the business's day-to-day operations. This is not your typical assistant role — it's an apprenticeship that offers invaluable hands-on experience in the worlds of investment banking, capital markets, digital marketing, and technology.

 

In this role, you'll go beyond managing calendars and inboxes. You will actively learn about the business, assist with strategic decisions, and take on projects contributing to the company's success. You’ll gain exposure to various aspects of business operations, including marketing, technology, and sales, while also receiving personalized mentorship from the CEO.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the CEO with daily tasks, including inbox management, calendar coordination, and task prioritization.
  • Learn and support areas such as digital marketing, capital markets, and technology.
  • Help manage and track ongoing projects, ensuring deadlines are met and work is organized.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare materials for investor conferences, and assist with communication efforts.
  • Provide analytical support and research in key business areas.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external communication on behalf of the CEO.

  • Organized and Analytical: You excel at managing multiple tasks and staying on top of deadlines.
  • Strong Communicator: You can effectively communicate in writing, over Zoom, and in person at investor conferences.
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience or knowledge of the capital markets and/or digital marketing is preferred, but not required.

 

Additional Information:

  • Full-Time Independent Contractor Role: The applicant will start as a 1099 independent contractor. After a mutually agreed-upon trial period, W-2 status with a full benefits package can be provided.
  • Hybrid Work: Based on the Upper East Side, Manhattan, with a mix of remote and in-person work.
  • Compensation: $2500 to $4,000 per month, based on experience. Eligible for bonuses. Regular performance reviews and compensation reassessments.
  • Growth Opportunity: This role offers substantial learning and mentoring from the CEO. You’ll be directly involved in shaping the business while gaining real-world business experience.
  • Employment Status: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
