Digital Designer Intern

Job Summary :
The Digital Designer (Intern/ Part-time) role will specialize in e-commerce-related design and content creation. In this role, the designer is expected to develop creative visual content to communicate brand identity across all platforms. Content will be used for websites, apps, interfaces, digital ads, emails, and social media as part of leading content strategies and content creation—photography, videography, motion graphics, etc. The ideal candidate has a modern design aesthetic and has experience working with CPG, eCommerce, and Asian retail brands.
Job Responsibilities:
● Design and produce high-quality work within brand guidelines and within an agreed timeframe for marketing collateral, email design, digital advertising, paid social ads, and other content creation
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams in developing designs for multi-channel brand assets that meet business objectives and support brand strategy
● Be a contributing team member within a multidisciplinary team of creatives!
● Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
● 0-1 year of related professional experience.
● Bachelor’s degree in Design, Art, or other related majors.
● Proficiency in written and verbal English communication skills.
● Strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software.
● Ability to work on various digital projects, including responsive web pages, paid media, and emails.
● A proven understanding of typography, designing to a grid, and inclusive design concepts.
● Pixel-perfect attention to detail.
● Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles.
Bonus Qualifications:
● Skills in motion design, video editing, and/or illustration.
● Bilingual proficiency in Chinese, Japanese, and/or Korean
*This is an onsite role in the Brea HQ office.
Intern is expected to devote 40 hours per week to this position for a 3-month duration ( May- July/Aug )and/ or above
