Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate AP Psychology Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychology and experience preparing students for the AP Psychology exam. This role involves teaching high school students in a one-on-one or small group setting, either in-person or online.

Responsibilities:

• Tutor high school students in AP Psychology following the official College Board curriculum
• Provide test-taking strategies and support students in preparing for the AP exam
• Develop customized lesson plans and review materials as needed
• Track student progress and communicate with parents and the Young Scholars team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology or a related field (or current college student with strong academic standing)
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred
• Familiarity with the AP Psychology curriculum and exam format
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Punctual, responsible, and professional

Preferred:

• Experience with both in-person and virtual instruction
• Familiarity with other AP subjects a plus

Schedule & Compensation:

• Part-time, flexible hours
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience
