Staff Geo-scientist

Earth Data Northeast, Inc. ("EDN") provides geophysical, hydrogeological and environmental consulting services. Position involves the operation of geophysical and packer testing systems, installation of multi-level groundwater monitoring and sampling systems, aquifer testing, groundwater sampling, data analysis, interpretation, and report writing. Position involves site work and travel throughout the United States. Work activities will be performed on groundwater contamination sites in support of site investigations and remediation.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in geology/hydrogeology, geophysics, environmental science or similar field from an accredited college or university and a strong interest in the earth sciences. Federal regulatory experience and knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA, a plus. Candidates must possess a strong work ethic, and superior verbal and written communication skills.  Proficiency with mechanical and electrical systems is desirable.

Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and be insurable. Candidates will be required to participate in health and safety training, medical monitoring, and drug and alcohol testing. 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER safety training a plus.
