Marketing Intern

Calyxo, Inc. was founded in February 2016 in collaboration with leading U.S. urologists who recognized the profound need for improved kidney stone treatment. Kidney stone disease is a common problem that is painful and consumes vast amounts of healthcare resources each year. We are focused on delivering innovative solutions to better meet the needs of kidney stone patients and transform the care of this condition.

We envision a day when kidney stones are efficiently removed in a routine, one-time treatment, leaving behind only peace of mind for both patients and physicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement a centralized events portal to support planning, tracking, and internal visibility across regional events and congresses
  • Conduct research and mapping for marketing automation tools to identify future-state capabilities and platform recommendations
  • Support the development and segmentation of our customer database, ensuring accurate, structured data for downstream campaigns
  • Update and optimize marketing templates (emails, presentations, collateral) to align with current brand guidelines
  • Enhance the structure and organization of our Enablix sales enablement platform, improving navigation and content access for field teams
  • Assist with special projects and documentation as needed across the Commercial Marketing and Sales teams
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Recent graduate or current junior/senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, General Business / Business Administration / Management, Communications, Health Sciences, Public Relations, Economics, Psychology (with interest in consumer behavior or health communication), Data Analytics / Information Systems (helpful for CRM, marketing automation, and reporting projects), Biology or Pre-Med (if targeting clinical marketing or technical messaging roles), Humanities, or related field
  • Medical device internship experience desired
  • Work location: Pleasanton, CA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 
  • Experience with Salesforce, Adobe, and Canva is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn and accept challenges
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities and adapt to change
  • Ability to solve problems and analyze data
  • Ability to think and work independently and in teams
  • Must be able to lift 10 pounds, sit for up to 8 hours/day
  • Compliant with relevant county, state, and federal rules regarding vaccinations
