Seasonal Summer Plant Health Care Assistant

John B Ward Co. Arborists in King of Prussia, Pa., is looking for motivated students who are interested in assisting our Plant Health Care team.

John B. Ward & Co. Arborists is a 64-year-old family-owned and operated business dedicated to providing the highest level of tree and shrub care. We have 15 ISA Certified Arborists and are a TCIA-accredited company.

Job Duties:

• Treating shrubs and trees to prevent/control insects and diseases

• Assisting Plant Health Care Technicians with their daily routines and client visits

• Proper and safe use of equipment and vehicles Q

Qualifications:

• Able to follow directions and work as a part of a team

• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor, especially with client interactions

• Enjoy working outdoors 

• Valid driver’s license and transportation to and from work

• Demonstrated ability to report for work regularly and punctually during a 40-hour work week

• Ability to perform strenuous manual labor and work in all weather conditions

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Prior experience working in the green industry is preferred but not necessary

Salary:

• $20.00/hour with overtime/weekend opportunities available
