reBuild Workshop is an integrated, architect-led, design & build workshop based in Brooklyn, New York. Our team includes architects, designers, craftsmen, and artisans who share the same values: a passion for design and high-quality craftsmanship; a love for historic buildings, contemporary design, and a commitment to environmentally responsible construction.

 

We are seeking a talented architecture student to join our team for Summer 2025. Interns will work closely with the firm’s principal and project managers to assist in development of our projects from concept design to construction completion. We offer an opportunity to experience various aspects of residential design-build in a small office environment.

The ideal candidate is one with diverse skills and real interest in dealing with all aspects of design and construction. They should possess strong design & management skills, aesthetic sensibilities, be an excellent communicator; understands and enjoys construction; someone who is organized, detail oriented. The position offers many opportunities to learn and contribute meaningfully to projects.

 

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Rhino and Revit.
  • Strong skills in preparing presentation materials, drawings, and illustrations using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • Rendering experience in Enscape and Vray are a plus
  • Passion for both design and construction processes
  • Adaptable and quick learner with the ability to handle diverse project tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and thrives in an environment with creative autonomy.

 

This is a full-time, in-person position in New York City. 

The approximate pay range for New York is $18 - $23. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
