Location: Chicago, IL | Salary: $76,068 - $110,136 per year

The Illinois Department of Human Services is seeking a dedicated and proactive Violence Prevention Program Coordinator to join our team in Chicago, IL. This is your opportunity to oversee a critical program that helps protect and uplift communities in the Chicago Southern Region.

💼 What You’ll Do:
• Coordinate the Violence Prevention Program for the Chicago Southern Region
• Review and analyze annual program plans, budgets, and reports to ensure compliance and effectiveness
• Monitor performance and grant compliance for various violence prevention initiatives
• Assist in the development of funding opportunities and policy recommendations
• Work with community partners to ensure program sites are well-supported and meet their needs

📚 What We’re Looking For:
• Requires a 4-year degree, preferably in public administration, business, or a related field
• 2 years of administrative experience in a public or business organization
• Experience in program management, budgeting, and performance evaluation preferred
• Ability to work well with diverse stakeholders and adapt to changing needs
