Are you passionate about providing psychological services and making a difference in the lives of individuals? The Illinois Department of Human Services is seeking a compassionate Psychologist I to join our dynamic team at the Shapiro Center in Kankakee, IL.

💼 What You’ll Do:
• Provide professional psychologist services to individuals living at the Shapiro Center
• Assist in the development of Behavior Intervention Programs (BIP)
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to monitor and evaluate individual progress
• Perform assessments, consultations, and contribute to treatment planning
• Complete detailed reports and counseling summaries

📚 What We’re Looking For:
• Master’s degree in psychology with 2+ years of professional experience or successful completion of the psychologist associate program
• Ability to physically restrain individuals when necessary for safety
• Passion for helping individuals with developmental disabilities
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
