EI Supervisor of Intake and Eligibility
- 36.25 hour work week, full-time role
- Salaried position paid bi-weekly

- One week of paid vacation and 15 sick days immediately allocated upon hire. 3 personal days provided per year, prorated with employee start date. Starting vacation accrual of 3 weeks per year. Sick time accrued at 15 days per year after first year of employment with an unlimited accrual
- Starting salary range, determined by formula accounting for years of experience: $68,800.00 (base rate) to $86,000.00 (10 years of experience performing this same job or job with primarily the same duties.)

A day in the life of an Intake Early Intervention (EI) Supervisor of the Intake & Eligibility Team begins with checking emails and voice messages and reviewing the evaluation calendar, ensuring there is coverage for each of the scheduled Evaluators. The supervisor monitors the Early Intervention Data System referrals which appear on the dashboard and ensures referrals are being assigned to a staff member and entered into the case management system in a timely manner. The supervisor oversees outreach to each of the families referred to Early Intervention to ensure completion in accordance with EI policy and procedures. This includes attention to documentation and oversight/review of consent and intake forms that are completed by staff members.
Job Duties (Summary):
- Provides supervision and leadership to direct reports including technical assistance, setting goals and assignments, and support of daily duties. Formulates, affects, interprets, and implements department policies and procedures. Performs talent management activities such as onboarding, development and training, performance evaluations, application of personnel policies, and performance management.
- Monitors and audits required paperwork and/or data entry. Approves requisitions for equipment and supplies; maintains inventory; completes all reports and other forms.
- Works cooperatively with other staff, parents, caseworkers, referral sources, specialists, etc., to achieve program goals and maintain program compliance.
- Trains new team members; assists staff in obtaining and maintaining certifications. Develops and demonstrates knowledge of Early Intervention Evidence-Based Practices and current developments in the field.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, public of health administration, social/human services, or related field
- Four years of full-time paid work experience in early childhood/early intervention programs or services for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Must be eligible for and obtain Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association’s Early Intervention Service Coordinator Supervisor Certification

This position follows a hybrid-remote schedule, combining remote work with in-person responsibilities. Employees are expected to travel within the county to meet with individuals and attend in-office meetings as needed. The flexibility to work from home is available when job duties allow.
