Job Description:
Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role with a dynamic, diverse team? Florida Housing Finance Corporation is seeking a dedicated Multifamily Programs Administrator to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional who excels at managing a multi-faceted workload. This is a highly responsible, independent position that provides professional work within both federal and state housing programs, including Multifamily Mortgage Revenue Bonds (MMRB) and State Apartment Incentive Loan (SAIL) programs. The ideal candidate would manage the day-to-day operations of multiple Multifamily Programs including bonds, loans, and grants, working in conjunction with Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Request for Applications (RFA), and new programs as they are created. This position provides recommendations regarding policies and procedures to the Multifamily Loans & Bonds Director, assists staff with complex questions, and advises internal and external stakeholders on program requirements. Requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Position Requirements:
The successful applicant will have:
- Ability to manage a variety of projects at once and independently, with an ability to coordinate and work closely with others, including senior level staff, external subject matter experts and stakeholders.
- Capacity to build and maintain external professional relationships.
- Ability to lead a team and maintain high standards of compliance, program integrity, and team performance.
- Experience conducting in depth research and data analysis.
- Experience following statutes, rules, and/or federal guidelines.
- Must be highly organized, detail oriented, possess the ability to prioritize tasks, and work in a busy, fast-paced office environment.
- Five or more years of experience in banking, commercial real estate, accounting and/or experience with managing large projects/programs.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, accounting, finance or other related field. Work experience may be substituted.
- Extensive knowledge of, and experience using, Microsoft Office Suite and online collaboration and database tools.
Additional preferred job-related qualifications
- Knowledge of Rule Chapter 67 of the Florida Administrative Code.
- Experience in Multifamily Loan and Bond Transactions, preferably within a state housing finance agency.

This is an in-person position located in Tallahassee at the office of Florida Housing Finance Corporation. Preference will be given to applicants living in Leon County and surrounding areas. If you plan to move to Leon County or the surrounding area, please make a notation on your application.
Salary and Benefits:
Anticipated hiring salary is $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Florida Housing provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, dental, vision, short and long-term disability insurance, and other miscellaneous programs. Paid vacation, sick and personal leave; 11 paid holidays; and 401/457 retirement accounts.
