
Mental Health Therapist/Counselor: Homebuilders (Spokane, WA)

WHO WE WANT TO HIRE
We are looking for therapists/counselors with a commitment to making a difference in the lives of children, youth and families. We are currently hiring a full-time therapist in our HOMEBUILDERS® program, with the option of starting part-time and working up to full-time if desired. The ideal candidate will live in Spokane county or be willing to relocate.
Homebuilders therapists:
- Maintain a small caseload of 2-3 families.
- Work with families in their homes and community locations.
- Schedule client sessions at times that are most helpful to families.
- Maintain availability to respond to their assigned families, or arrange coverage within their team if unavailable.

Competitive Compensation
- HIRING BONUS: $5,000 - Paid over 18 months
- Master's degree: $60,078 - $64,556 annual salary, DOE
- Bachelor's degree: $54,190 - $58,261 annual salary, DOE
- Paid mileage and paid travel time
- 5% bilingual salary add-on for some languages
- This is a non-exempt position that qualifies for overtime compensation
HOW TO JOIN OUR TEAM
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate degree in social work, psychology, human services or related field; experience working with child/youth and families with mental health needs.
- Valid Washington State Department of Health counseling credential.
- Qualify as a Mental Health Professional; Child Mental Health Specialist preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions; good driving record (no serious infractions in past 5 years); vehicle in good working condition; automobile liability insurance that meets minimum agency requirements.
- Meet state / contract requirements for transporting clients and for unrestricted access to children (e.g., no crimes or negative actions that would affect background clearance, no driving infractions that prohibit transportation of clients).
- Residence in Spokane county.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule to meet client needs (including some evenings and weekends).
- Satisfactory completion of a criminal history background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and must live in designated service area.
