Tax Analyst Intern
The Summer Intern program provides college students with the opportunity to participate in meaningful projects that contribute to the overall business unit objectives. In addition to the assigned projects, Interns are given the opportunity to participate in activities that encourage networking with peers, managers, and employees.

Job Summary:
- Provide support for the preparation of federal and state income tax returns.
- Responsibilities for Internal Candidates
- Prepare Form 5471s, 8858s and various state returns.
- Ensure all relevant supporting files are systemically named and saved on Sharepoint.
- Provide weekly progress updates to director of tax.
- Internship Projects: legal entity registration alignment, tax research and
- documentation on book tax differences.
- As business needs dictate, may work extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory overtime.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Perform research to support positions taken in the tax returns and prepare required supporting documentation.
- Knowledge to apply applicable laws and regulations.
- Intermediate skill in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read and understand highly technical material.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Professional demeanor.
Work Environment:
- Professional office setting
- Willing to report to work in the San Ramon office.
- This is a paid internship.
- Prolonged sitting in front of a computer
Experience:
- Not required, but prior Internship experience is a plus.
Education:
- Current college student, majoring in accounting or tax.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $26.87 and $35.95 per hour and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
