Night Auditor

One of the most beloved resorts in New England, The Woodstock Inn & Resort is seeking a Night Auditor to join the team.

The Night Auditor is responsible for nightly audit of all Property Management Systems, distributing the Daily Revenue reports to all department heads and responsible for front desk and phone coverage. Night shifts 11:00pm-7:00am. Full-Time, year-round position.

Job Responsibilities:

• End the day in SMS Host, SMS Teres, SMS POS Retail, printing all necessary reports for accounting team.
• Settle all credit transactions for Resort through Dollars on the Net.
• Input statistical data/daily revenue into monthly audit sheet and ensure numbers balance.
• Run daily backup and maintenance procedures.
• Responsible for accuracy of all month end procedures, including the printing of all statements.
• Total knowledge of all front desk procedures,
• Maintain positive guest relations, anticipate guests needs and respond to all inquiries.
• Comply with all resort and departmental policies, service procedures and standards,

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of night audit procedures.
• Proficiency in excel.
• Positive demeanor with guests.

Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information. 

Job Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of hospitality software systems.
• Demonstrate ability to work with individuals and take initiative to resolve problems.
• Previous experience as night auditor preferred.
• Prior hospitality accounting experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
