Residential Asset Managment Intern

General Summary

 We are currently seeking a summer Intern for the Asset Management Department. In this role, the candidate will gain experience and education in multiple areas of Residential Operations including building design, development, apartment renovations, leasing/sales and marketing, and performance management through the study and analysis of various performance metrics. 

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

• Work closely with various members of the leasing and asset management teams
• Tour and inspect residential buildings and apartments for quality control of apartment prep
• Research competitive properties to help support pricing decisions, marketing initiatives and design and development of future projects
• Data collection and high-level analysis to help drive and improve performance results.
• Participation in the creation of annual budgets across the entire portfolio
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:   

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing or other related fields.
• Experience working in a corporate office environment is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel is preferred.
• Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
