The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency wants you to be our newest summer intern in the Division of Air Pollution Control (DAPC) We have multiple positions to choose from:
Permitting:
- Assist staff in the analysis of existing and new sources of air pollution to determine compliance with state and federal rules
- Assist staff in the review of permit applications
E Check; Mobile Source Section (MSS):
- Participate in Ohio EPA’s College Intern program by assisting the technical staff with routine duties.
- Assist the Unit Supervisor in research and review of technical documents related to compliance with federal and state environmental rules and regulations.
- Assist with audit program and perform field work, including conducting covert audits of test stations.
- Enter and compile data, prepare and edit reports, and maintain records.
Permitting and Compliance:
- Participate in Ohio EPA’s College Intern program.
- Assist technical staff with routine duties.
- Help analyze air pollution sources to determine regulation compliance.
- Assist in the review of air permit applications.
- Enter and compile data, reports, and records using Microsoft Office tools and Agency software.
- Assist air monitoring staff in routine maintenance of the monitors or sites and conduct complaint investigations.
