Title: Maintenance & Grounds

Full-time position with insurance and retirement.

Summary:

• The National Whitetail Deer Education Foundation is adding a member to our Maintenance and Grounds Department. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a passionate staff and use their skills to help our Foundation grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mowing and trimming
• Weeding and mulching of landscaping
• Pond maintenance
• Maintaining and repairing tools, equipment, and structures such as fences, gates, picnic tables, benches
• Using hand and power tools, such as chainsaws
• Use of heavy equipment such as skid steers, tractors, and mini excavators
• Setting up, preparing, and clearing sites for events and functions
• Feeding animals, including our whitetail deer herd
• Building maintenance including painting and minor drywall repair
• Loading and unloading of supplies from trucks and trailers
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Possession of a high school diploma
• Experience running skid steer, and driving tractors is preferred
• Ability to operate landscaping machinery such as zero turn mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws
