CCO Account Representative (Program Analyst 2)

 

Do you have experience in and passion for healthcare transformation, Medicaid enrollment, and problem-solving complex Medicaid access to care and quality of care cases? This posting will be used to fill one (1) permanent, full-time position. The position is classified and is represented by a union. 

Work Location: Salem/Marion or Portland/Multnomah; hybrid position.

 

What you will do!

This position is responsible to provide program assistance to the Coordinated/Managed Care programs. This position is responsible to assist with the establishment and monitoring of program strategies, goals, program priorities. Including the design, development, implementation, monitoring, evaluations, and maintenance of Title XIX (Medicaid) and Title XXI (CHIP) operational policies and procedures as they relate to the managed care process, and working to support the managed care organizations as they develop and implement new processes. The program scope of this position includes but is not limited to reporting mechanisms affecting health care services to OHA.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of experience or education equivalent to five years of experience coordinating or administering a program.

 

Example: A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years experience coordinating or administering a program.

 

Desired Attributes

  • Knowledge of federal requirements, state rules and program requirements for the Oregon Medicaid Program.
  • Knowledge of policies, process, and procedures related to managed care services, enrollment, and eligibility.

  • Specific knowledge of health services delivery systems; government health benefit programs, particularly the Oregon Health Plan/ Medicaid administration in Oregon; and client rights related to those programs.
  • Experience in working with Coordinated Care Organizations or other managed care entities, especially as it relates to equitable access to supports and services. 
  • Knowledge with Auditing procedures.
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and use of collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
