Family Support Specialists

Family Support Specialists:

Paradigm, Inc. is seeking Family Support Specialists/Parenting Time Specialists to perform a variety of duties and tasks to coordinate and implement services based on a case plan developed and facilitated by a Children and Family Service’s Worker to prevent abuse/neglect of children, strengthen families, and/or assist in providing permanency for children in care. The Family Support Specialist will focus on child/parental skill acquisition, improved family functioning, increase parent/child interactions and community engagement for support with children/youth and families referred by Children and Family Services. Up to $21.50 an hour based on experience and education. Full and part time positions available.

Qualifications/Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in human services, psychology or related field, or enrolled in college and be within two (2) semesters of completing a BA degree in human services or a related field. Other applicants with an Associate's Degree plus two (2) years of experience.

• Demonstrate successful ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Solid communication and computer skills.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Clear criminal history background and adult/child abuse checks.

• Valid State of Nebraska driver’s license and good driving history.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.50 per hour
