Technical Support Specialist

The following position is available for the 2024-2025 School Year:

 


Position: Technical Support Specialist

 

The Technical Support Specialist serves under the supervision of the Directory of Technology and is responsible for end-user consultation, problem diagnosis, troubleshooting assistance, training, and support computer hardware, software, mobile devices, telecommunications, and AV technology systems.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Effectively communicate with users and team members, ensuring clear management of issues and resolutions.
  • Contribute to a constructive and collaborative team atmosphere by sharing knowledge and actively participating in process enhancements.
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows, iOS, Chrome OS and other modern operating systems.
  • Professionally conduct themselves with staff and well as students.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of the broad range of technology devices.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work and troubleshoot independently.
  • Regular and consistent in-person attendance.
  • Physically capable to lift objects over 50 pounds and stand or sit for an extended period of time.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience of working with Google Apps.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
  • 1-3 years of technical experience in troubleshooting and supporting computers and mobile devices.
  • Previous experience in a customer support role.
  • Experience in with FMX ticketing and facilities software.

 

 

Salary:  $40,000 - $50,000

Calendar:  12-month position
