Supply Chain Management Intern - Inventory Control

Internship Summary:
Join our Supply Chain team as an intern specializing in Inventory Control Management, where you’ll play an active role in maintaining and optimizing inventory processes that are critical to our operations. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience with real-world supply chain challenges, focusing on improving inventory accuracy, supporting audit activities, and driving data driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in tracking inventory levels, analyzing discrepancies, and implementing corrective
actions to ensure data accuracy. Support inventory audits and reconciliation processes to maintain system accuracy. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline inventory workflows and enhance visibility across the supply chain. Develop and maintain reports to monitor key inventory metrics, including stock levels, turnover rates, and obsolescence trends.
 

Contribute to the standardization of item descriptions and ensure data quality within the
Items Master List.
 

Research and recommend best practices for reducing excess and obsolete inventory while
maintaining service level targets.
 

Engage in special projects, such as reviewing supply chain systems and processes, to
enhance inventory control activeness.
 

Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics,
Business Administration, or related field. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve problems. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Passion for learning and a proactive attitude toward tackling challenges.
