Thrift Store Volunteer

Are thrift stores your happy place?  Unknown Nations is recruiting thrift store volunteers for its partner, Legacy Thrift, in three locations in Grand Rapids.  Volunteers help with various tasks like assisting customers, running the cash register, sorting donations, and pricing and display of merchandise.   Whether your passion is clothing, shoes and purses, arts & crafts, furniture, toys, electronics, home decor, or housewares, there is an area for you!  

Volunteers should have excellent customer service skills and  be team players.  The added benefit of volunteering is that for every four hours our Legacy Thrift stores are open (and we need volunteers to do that!), Unknown Nations is able to send 10 audio Bibles in indigenous languages to unreached people nations who have never heard the gospel message.  In a very real sense, our volunteers are fulfilling The Great Commission without even leaving town!  Many of our volunteers love to show up for work and value the friendships they make with customers and other volunteers.  What's more, they embrace the mission of reaching the unreached and that makes for a very devoted workforce.  

You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer.
