Position Summary
The Junior Loan Officer role is a gateway position designed to transition ambitious individuals into a licensed Loan Officer role following a 90-day development period. This position combines telemarketing experience, licensing exam preparation, and professional development, providing a clear path to success in the mortgage industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make 200+ outbound calls daily, generating live transfers to Loan Officers.
  • Engage with potential clients to qualify leads and initiate the loan origination process.
  • Dedicate mornings (8 AM – 12 PM) to studying for the Loan Officer (LO) licensing exam after the initial 90-day period.
  • Utilize afternoons (2 PM – 6 PM) to continue telemarketing efforts and build client engagement skills.
  • Accurately record and manage client interactions using the company CRM.

Professional Development Path

  • First 90 Days: Focus exclusively on telemarketing efforts, building client interaction skills, and understanding the mortgage process.
  • Post-90 Days: Dedicate half the day (mornings) to studying for the LO licensing exam, while continuing telemarketing efforts in the afternoons.
  • Upon Licensing: Transition into a fully licensed Loan Officer role with an increased salary and enhanced responsibilities, contributing directly to My Equity Direct’s growth.

Qualifications

  • Recent college graduate seeking a dynamic entry point into the mortgage or financial industry.
  • Strong communication skills, especially over the phone.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a passion for learning.
  • Ability to thrive in a goal-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • No prior mortgage experience required—ideal for driven individuals ready to build a career.
