Tax Paraprofessional Internship - Spring 2025

An internship with ADKF offers a great start to your accounting career. Our interns are provided on-boarding and on-the-job training.

To facilitate effective training and team building, ADKF Internships will be held in-person and located at our San Antonio office.

As a Paraprofessional Tax Intern you will work in a collaborative environment, interact with other team members, and work on diverse projects. Our interns receive onboarding and on-the-job training. We pride ourselves on exemplary client service.

Position Type: In Office

Location: San Antonio

Qualifications:

• Accounting major with a minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
• Sophomore hours or higher, pursuing Tax or Audit roles in public accounting
• Completed tax or audit course at the time of the internship
• Proficient in MS Office, Adobe, and ability to learn new software
• Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems
• Strong communication skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to lift/move 15 pounds

Responsibilities

• Scan, Autoflow different returns
• Assist with projects
• Other duties as needed and assigned

Expectations

• Pursuing a career in public accounting
• At conclusion of internship there may be opportunity for a tax or audit internship for a subsequent period
