Summer Intern

Job Description:

Our insurance agency is seeking a motivated and driven individual for a paid summer internship position. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our president and vice president and gain valuable experience in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the president and vice president in the day-to-day running of the business.
• Attend sales calls with senior staff to learn about the sales process and how to effectively communicate with clients.
• Help in the transfer of data between agency management systems, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Perform various administrative duties, such as filing, data entry, and answering phone calls.
• Collaborate with other members of the team to identify areas for improvement and contribute ideas to help the agency grow.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
• A desire to learn and grow in the insurance industry.

Duration:

• This is a paid summer internship position that will last for approximately 8-12 weeks.

Location:

• This position is based out of our office in Bethlehem, PA.
