Staff Accountant

MCK CPAs & Advisors is a leading CPA firm headquartered in Decatur, Illinois with locations in Monticello and Bloomington. We are a full-service accounting and consulting firm, with specialized niches built around traditional services. We are currently looking for an entry-level Staff Accountant. Job duties will include participation in multiple areas of our firm including audit, taxation, consulting, and more. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or higher. CPA licensure or eligibility to sit for CPA exams is not required but is a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word is a must. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks is a plus. Salary and benefits are regionally-competitive and commensurate with experience level. Benefits package includes group health insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), profit-sharing, group life, professional training and professional dues paid. New hires begin with three weeks of paid vacation.
