Bell's Brewery Tour Guide

Leads brewery tours in a manner that results in a positive, educational & entertaining experience for customers and guests.

*Must have flexible hours, weekends availability required, with occasional weekdays/evenings by arrangement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Leads tours of both the Comstock and downtown breweries.
  • Provides information about Bell’s history and brewing process.
  • Responds to customer questions, and positively represents the Bell’s brand at all times.
  • Describes and responds to questions regarding the various types of beers available within the market.
  • Monitors guest behavior to ensure compliance with applicable safety rules.
  • Addresses and resolves behaviors that are disruptive to the tour process in a professional manner.
  • Keeps guests together during the tour and limits the amount of unsupervised wandering.
  • Ensures that every guest has a positive experience on the tour.
  • Maintains the tour area by addressing or reporting safety hazards, dirty conditions, damaged equipment, or other items that could detract from the Bell’s brand.
  • Performs opening and closing duties of tour locations in accordance to SOP’s.
  • Stay current on brewing industry news and events, both locally and nationally
  • Responsible for traveling between company sites for tours and meetings.

Education/ Experience/Skills:

  • Ability to convey knowledge in a personable and engaging way
  • Be enthusiastic and friendly
  • Ability to positively represent the brewery at all times
  • Ability to think “on your feet” and respond to questions
  • Ability to speak in front of large groups of people on a regular basis
  • Ability to control crowds and handle unforeseen situations when giving tours.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.

Starting Hourly Wage: $21.00
