Supervisory Procurement Analyst
- Provide supervision to the procurement staff; establish work priorities, develop performance standards; and evaluate overall efficiency of the Acquisition Section to ensure effective and efficient operations.
- Provide oversight to the Cooperative Agreement and Charge Card programs and staff.
- Serve as contracting officer for contracts and intergovernmental orders greater than $250,000.
- Provide guidance to technical and administrative personnel on procurement planning: determining appropriate procurement method, contract preparation, development, award, administration, and termination.
- Research proposed legislation and current law, regulations directives, other issuances, and Bureau initiatives that may impact acquisition programs.
- Provide technical guidance on procurement activities and/or contracting actions to program managers, management, and procurement and contracting personnel.
- Review policy for proposed acquisitions pre-award and post-award actions at various phases of the acquisition process to ensure compliance with laws regulations and policies.
- Participate in internal control review; analyze activities and information of the office being reviewed; prepare reports of observations; and make recommendations for corrective action.
- Analyze and evaluate the diverse procurement matters; and develop and recommend contracting policies, procedures, guidance, and control measures for those contracting activities.
- Provide technical guidance, advice, and assistance to the subordinate Contracting Officers in the interpretation of policies and regulations and resolution of complex contract problems.
