Test Center Administrator - Testing Services

Summary of Job Duties:

The Test Center Administrator reports to the Director of Testing Services and directly supports the Test Center Manager. This position assists in supervising the part-time test center staff, including assigning and reviewing work and establishing work priorities. This position works closely with the team and industry partners to ensure efficient day-to-day operation of the office. The Test Center Administrator will engage with a broad range of clients, including testing candidates, students, faculty, staff, and testing partners. This position will oversee test preparation and administration to ensure the security of test materials and student confidentiality under the ADA, FERPA, Academic Integrity, and other applicable laws/policies. Applicants for this position should be organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job function of this job, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.


Qualifications:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma

At least one year of experience in a specialized or related area applicable to work performed

Ability to work Saturdays and some evenings

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education

At least one year of customer service experience

Experience working in a standardized or academic testing environment

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Excellent communication skills, customer service excellence, and demonstrated professionalism

Ability to comprehend and assimilate technical and business-related documents

Ability to work independently, as well as with a team

Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented

Ability to prepare, present, and review oral and written information and reports

Ability to research and analyze related work program information

Ability to develop, recommend, interpret, and apply policies and procedures

Ability to plan, organize, and direct the work of others
