The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Water Quality has an opening for a Supervising Engineering Geologist in the Groundwater Quality Branch. The position is located at 1001 I Street, 15th Floor, Sacramento, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation.
Duties:
The Supervising Engineering Geologist serves as the Manager of the UST and SCP Programs Section in the Groundwater Quality Branch in the Division of Water Quality and will lead multidisciplinary teams implementing hydro geological and geological principles to ensure that the activities they oversee are protective of surface water quality, groundwater quality, and public health.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
