Campground Management Internship

 POSITION SUMMARY

The Campground Management Internship Program offers the opportunity for undergraduate students to expand their classroom knowledge by developing skills, habits, and experience in a hands-on work environment, while enjoying the great outdoors.

The 12- week internship allows participants to focus on 4 core departments- campground operations, management, marketing and administration. Interns will train first-hand by working alongside our experienced managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Spend 12 weeks shadowing and working within the 4 core departments
  • Develop and present a final project at the conclusion of the internship
  • Ensure customers receive a high level of service consistent with our customer service philosophy
  • Ensure the safety of guest and resort property with attentive observation and action
  • Learn and operate Campground Management system
  • Answer phones & emails to help guests with their camping reservations
  • Register guests upon arrival and facilitate their stay by answering questions and giving information
  • Performs basic maintenance and cleaning
  • Help to coordinate the maintenance of all equipment used for recreational activities
  • Operate various types of standard office equipment, including a personal computer and related software
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

REQUIREMENTS

  • Student pursuing a degree in Outdoor Recreation, Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business, Communication, Entrepreneurship, Human Resources or related area of study
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Bilingual is a plus
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize
  • Able to work with others and work independently
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service and leadership abilities
  • Professional Appearance and attitude towards guests and fellow team members

  • Position Type- Full-Time Internship
  • Internship Dates- May to August, 2025
  • Schedule- 40 hours, 5 days/week. Includes weekends, and holidays
