Position Available: Retrofit Installer Technician (Full-Time)

R6 Regional Council is now accepting applications for a full-time Retrofit Technician. This entry-level green workforce position involves performing maintenance and basic construction tasks on residential homes. Role Overview:

As a Retrofit Technician, you’ll perform essential maintenance and basic construction tasks to improve energy efficiency in residential homes.  This position is ideal for someone ready to contribute to a more sustainable future and gain hands-on experience in green energy.

  • Interest in energy efficiency and home improvement
  • Ability to work well in a team setting

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Preferred one year of construction experience or knowledge.
  • Skills: Good people skills, sound judgment, organization skills, time management, and the ability to use basic hand and power tools.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Thursday, 40 hours per week
  • Salary: $33,000 - $41,000 per year. We pay based on experience.
  • Benefits: Medical - 100% employer-paid coverage, 12 paid federal holidays yearly, Paid time off, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Retirement plan with a match option.
