Fine Dining Server

Job Summary:

We are looking for a team member to continue the outstanding legacy of Napa Rose. Servers will be at the forefront of our Guests' dining experience guiding them through their meal and meeting their needs at every turn. As servers, we greet Guests, crafting an outstanding dining experience, taking orders and delivering items. Servers should uphold our high guest service expectations, take initiative and have an ability to immerse our Guests in a storytelling experience while dining.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve 4-6 table stations, depending on party size which includes taking food order, entering in POS system, delivering food to tables and following up with Guest service and needs until meals are complete and Guest leaves
  • Share extensive knowledge of wines and spirits to Guests
  • Enter Guests' orders into system, deliver Guests' checks, complete self-banking of Guests' checks
  • Clear tables and perform pre-bussing duties
  • Practice appropriate sanitation procedures and maintain cleanliness of the side stations
  • Complete assigned side work including but not limited to: polishing silverware, folding/rolling napkins, filling condiment caddies, cleaning beverage side station, slicing and pitting fruit for garnishing drinks
  • May combine the serving of food with a small amount of the preparation of food
  • May serve as a Cocktail server

Basic Qualifications:

  • You must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for this role
  • 2+ years serving in a high- volume fine dining restaurant
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently or part of a team
  • Enthusiastic about the guest experience and growth
  • Advanced understanding of wines and wine pairings
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sommelier level Wine Knowledge Highly preferred
  • Bilingual or Multilingual
  • Previous plus year in a luxury Hotel environment

    Additional Information: SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
    Shifts may start as early as 12:00pm and may end as late as 12:00am.
    Must be fully available for 2 weeks of on-the-job training.

    The pay rate for this role in California is $19.90 per hour, plus tips.
