The Office of AIDS (OA) is a division within the California Department of Public Health, Center for Infectious Diseases. The HIV Care Branch, within OA, has responsibility for programs related to the delivery of care, treatment, and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS. Programs are designed to provide an effective and comprehensive continuum of care to underserved individuals.

This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by serving as a skilled analyst for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP), Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Program, and the Medi-Cal Waiver Program (MCWP). The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) will support the HIV Care Branch programs on provider communication, stakeholder engagement, program data and reporting, and special projects.

This position requires the incumbent to have outstanding written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Knowledge and skills in American Disabilities Act (ADA) standards and design compliance, as well as the of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel are required.
