Product Data Analyst

Product Data Analyst in Grand Rapids!

Contract long term (to perm possible) Product Data Analyst position (multiple openings) as part of Product Marketing team. This is an onsite position in Grand Rapids MI facility. Must be local to Grand Rapids or willing to relocate at own expense.

Entry level position or up to 2 years’ experience. Must be eligible to work in US without sponsorship, now or later New graduates or soon to graduate with Bachelor’s or Masters degree, as well as individuals with 1-2 years of work experience accepted.    Knowledge of SAP required.

Anticipated start date: January 6, 2025

Pay Rate: $32.00 hourly  (W2 only; no C2C or sponsorship)

Primary activities include facilitate and coordinate the creation and maintenance of product data models for new and existing products as required by Marketing, Engineering, Sales, PIC, Sourcing, Manufacturing Operations, and Distribution.  Ability to analyze data, understand the Order-to-Ship process within SAP, and knowledge of the bill-of-materials function within SAP.

Design, Load, and Validate the data representation of these product models on the SAP product database in support of the product development, order fulfillment, life-cycle maintenance, customer service, specials, pricing, order planning and scheduling, inventory management and electronic catalog processes.  Insure consistency between database and publications.  The emphasis is on data integrity, providing efficient order specification, pricing, manufacturing and shipping for improved product profitability and dealer/customer satisfaction.      

  • Hands on experience with data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel, or similar tools to manipulate complex or large data sets.
  • Demonstrated ability to take abstract concepts and translate or simplify into another defined format.
  • Knowledge of SAP, either through academic coursework, certification programs or regular work is desired but not mandatory.
  • An understanding of SAP Variant Configuration methods and techniques including the ability to develop rules containing executable code is desired but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in the use of Excel, Access, and various Mass Loading Tools for Data Loading desired.
  • The ability to read and understand various technical documentation (such as Statement Of Line, Engineering documents).

What we’re looking for:

  • Four-year degree in a related field preferred (i.e., Data Management, MIS, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or Engineering)
  • Data analysis. 
  • SAP trained/or experience required (SAP S4 HANA)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Access
  • New graduates or soon to graduate with bachelor’s degree and 1 years of Internship/co-op/work experience accepted.
