Primary Care Physician

Primary Healthcare Centers is seeking a full-time, Family Practice Physician (MD or DO) with the passion and skills to deliver high quality outpatient healthcare for all ages at one or more of our primary care clinics in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Northwest Georgia. Physician will also function as a supervising physician for assigned nurse practitioners. Work schedule is Mon.-Fri., and no weekends. Must have an active Georgia license or be willing to obtain and be board certified in family medicine or eligible.

Primary Healthcare Centers (PHC) is a non-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides pediatric and adult primary care medicine, nutrition, behavioral health, case management and other enabling services to the citizens of our communities regardless of ability to pay. We have been in operation since 1978, and have facilities in Dade, Walker, Catoosa, and Chattooga counties. Our Administrative offices are in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, just 20-minutes from the beautiful city of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

PHC is a registered site for the National Health Service Corps, giving you the opportunity to apply for loan repayment. PHC provides a stipend and paid days off for continuing education and offers professional dues and licensure reimbursement. Your liability insurance will be covered under the Federal tort Claims Act (FTCA).
