Sales Support Specialist - Lighting

We are looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join our growing Commercial One-Stop Lighting team! This role will report to the Commercial Programs Manager. The One-Stop team is responsible for Implementing commercial rebate programs in Xcel Energy territory. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for data entry, managing internal and external partner relationships, and responding to auditor and vendor requests in a timely manner. What You’ll Do
Data Entry
- Interpret and accurately enter proposals from auditors/vendors
- Process change orders
- Generate reports for auditor review
- Send out reports/program correspondence as needed
- Review work and request changes from contractors and other partners.
Program Support
- Build constructive and effective relationships with program staff, vendors and participants using diplomacy and tact
- Respond to auditor/vendor requests for emails, faxes, and follow-up calls in a timely manner
- Gain a complete understanding of program processes and policies to answer questions and serve as back-up during vacation/busy periods
- Take on miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed
Job Tracking and updating
- Work with Salesforce to update work stages and lifecycles
- Interpret reports and data to ensure accuracy and that all jobs are accounted for
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all assigned work and its place in the job life cycle.
Other duties as assigned or apparent.
Skills & Knowledge We’re Looking For
- Commercial lighting experience or the ability to quickly learn and apply technical information
- Previous experience in a sales support role is a plus
- Ability to operate general office equipment
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to customized software programs and solutions
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Ability to follow direction, take initiative, and work independently
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated Accuracy and quality in work
- Ability to work in a varied and fast paced environment
- Must be able to demonstrate integrity, teamwork, the ability to learn, a results-orientation and a sense of how to balance urgency and quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience
Compensation
- Dependent on qualifications and experience, we expect the compensation range for this position will be $23.00/Hr
