JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis, with the potential to transition into full-time. This crucial role involves providing assessment and therapy for children dealing with severe emotional disturbances and mental health challenges. Our ideal candidate has experience in addressing sensory integration issues resulting from complex trauma, as well as other proprioceptive and daily living challenges. However, we also welcome applicants who are willing to engage in training and continuing education to gain expertise in these areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF OUR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST:
- Conduct developmental screenings and evaluations, focusing on sensory processing and trauma-related issues
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and functional goals
- Collaborate with the client's treatment team, including individual therapists, skills workers, and case managers
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation
- Provide supervision for OT students in a master's program
HOURS AND LOCATION:
The schedule for this position is flexible, with evening availability required to accommodate after-school/work appointments. The role involves traveling to clients' homes in Waukesha County, and our structured scheduling system ensures efficient time management with minimal travel.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a master's degree and State License in Occupational Therapy.
- Must have reliable transportation daily, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.
