Occupational Therapist
The Kenny Rogers Children's Center is a pediatric, outpatient therapy facility providing physical, occupational and speech therapy to children with all disabilities, ages birth to 21. We are looking for a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team. Our team of therapists, combined with our progressive treatment and state-of-the-art facility allows us to provide specialized services to over 450 children in Southeast Missouri. Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of children with special needs and to be recognized as the center that best serves all children with special needs. Our vision is that we improve their quality of life by providing services without regard for ability to pay.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance children's skills and independence.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support each child's progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and their families.
