Military Police Officer
Overview
As a Military Police, you’ll protect peoples’ lives and property on Army installations by enforcing military laws and regulations. You’ll also control traffic, prevent crime, and respond to all emergencies. You’ll conduct force protection, anti-terrorism, area security, and police intelligence operations. You’ll also train in corrections and detention, investigations and mobility, and security around the world.
Job Duties
- Detect, exploit and neutralize intelligence threats
- Investigate national security crimes
- Serve as an Army CI liaison
- Collect and process forensic and physical evidence
- Conduct CI support to force protection
Requirements
- A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
- 17 to 34 Years Old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Meet Tattoo Guidelines
- No Major Law Violations
- No Medical Concerns
Testing & Certifications
- 30Nationally Recognized Certifications Available
- 10weeks of Basic Training
- 20weeks of One Station Unit Training & on-the-job instruction in police methods
- 91ASVAB Score: Skilled Technical (ST)
