$10,000.00 sign on Bonus.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.

· State licensure as a Physical Therapist.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical setting.

· BLS Certified.

· Strong Communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

· General knowledge of Nursing and Resident care.

· Awareness of health and safety guidelines.

· Comfortably working independently and in a team environment.

· Demonstrates patience, dependability, and cooperation.

· Compassionate, empathetic, and caring personality as well as good bedside manners.

· Comfortable helping patients physically.

· Basic computer and technology skills.

Job Summary:

Develop rehabilitation and continuing care plans that are specific to each individual resident. Diagnose resident’s condition. Improve function and mobility and reduce chronic pain in residents by leading them through exercises, hand-on therapy (massage), and stretching. Maintain resident’s records. Teach residents how to use therapeutic equipment, such as walkers and wheelchairs. Track residents progress and make adjustment to their plans as needed.
